About the team and role:

We collaborate with all areas of the University to understand needs and work hand-in-hand to develop solutions. Our team delivers inspiring experiences to diverse customers through innovative architecture open spaces and cutting-edge technology all backed with a strong focus on User Experience (UX).

The Consultant Space Planning & Allocation is part of the Infrastructure & Digital Engagement collaboration with key stakeholders the Consultant will take a proactive approach to identify and support the design and development of solutions for the use of spaces (workspace teaching learning and research spaces) to achieve a more sustainable efficient and improved University.

As a Consultant you will:

  • Lead stakeholder engagement to develop and deliver space planning solutions across all University space types including refurbishments and relocations.
  • Provide strategic advice and insights to senior leaders on future accommodation planning and space modelling.
  • Analyse complex information and communicate clear practical recommendations driving continuous improvement through effective consultation and influencing.
  • Maintain accurate spatial information in Property applications to enable efficient reporting and analysis of Campus assets.
  • Integrate cross-faculty perspectives industry best practice and innovative ideas to continuously improve our spaces and create new value for the University.

To be successful youll have:

  • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
  • Extensive experience and management expertise; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
