Job Summary
Be an integral part of an agile team thats constantly pushing the envelope to enhance build and deliver top-notch technology products.
As Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Finance Technology team you will be at the forefront of promoting engineering excellence and innovation in regulatory reporting across APAC. You will oversee the development and deployment of applications catering to the regulatory reporting needs of Finance users across APAC locations leveraging a cutting-edge tech stack including Databricks PySpark and vendor-based products like Axiom/OFSAA.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the application suite for data sourcing calculations and reporting tailored for local jurisdictions.
- Collaborate globally to align with architecture standards while meeting local requirements.
- Lead a motivated team fostering high standards in design analytics development and vendor software integration.
- Promote a culture of experimentation continuous improvement and learning.
- Work collaboratively in a diverse environment valuing creative solutions for global customers.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience.
- Hands on experience in Databricks PySpark and vendor-based products like Axiom/OFSAA
- Hands on experience in technology leadership roles focusing on application data and infrastructure architecture.
- Experience in implementing and integrating vendor software solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies particularly AWS.
- Experience leading multiple feature teams of 7-8 software engineers.
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
- AWS Google or Azure certification preferred.
