We are seeking a motivated and skilledEmployment Support Workerwithin Mylestones Solutions. You will provide a range of individual and group-based employment supports to Customer Service Work Crew participants that encourage and increase community engagement economic participation and increased capacity to reach employment goals and aspirations including managing CPLs reception area.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing support and mentoring participants that encourage a level of competence and achievement with their employment and training goals.
- Identify training and development needs of participants.
- Maintain necessary records of service provision including accurate reporting and ensures that relevant information is communicated.
- Contribute effectively to identification removal and reduction of workplace hazards and risks to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Managing incoming customer enquiries and make recommendations to meet the identified needs of the customer.
Selection Criteria includes:
- Experience in supporting and encouraging individuals with disability support needs to achieve their employment and training goal.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgement initiative and problem-solving skills within defined guidelines.
- Ability to effectively assess customers needs and translate these into viable work plans and programs.
- Previous experience working in a customer service and coordination role highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills including a sales orientation and the ability to engage customers and effectively resolve conflict when required.
- High level of ability using technology and the Microsoft Office suite of products knowledge of CRM systems and call centre software would be an advantage.
- Current First Aid & CPR Qualifications.
- Willing and eligible to obtain a Certificate III in Disability.
- Willing and eligible to obtain a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- A Working with Children Check and a NDIS Worker Screening Check (we can help).
