Technical Manager
As a Heartist you will be fully accountable for the technical integrity safety and sustainability of the hotel. This role is not passive maintenance; it is strategic technical leadership combined with hands-on operational control. You will ensure that all engineering systems support luxury service standards while remaining compliant efficient and future-proof.
What you will be doing:
Lead and manage all technical operations including mechanical electrical HVAC plumbing BMS fire & life safety systems
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs aligned with Accor standards
Ensure full compliance with local regulations Accor technical audits health & safety and environmental requirements
Manage technical budgets cost control and capital expenditure planning
Lead train and structure the technical team to ensure 24/7 operational readiness
Coordinate with external contractors suppliers and service providers
Support energy efficiency sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives
Act as the primary technical advisor to the General Manager and Regional Technical teams
Take ownership of emergency preparedness and crisis response related to technical operations
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
Proven Technical / Engineering leadership experience in luxury hospitality or large-scale facilities
(luxury hotel or international brand background is a strong advantage)
Solid knowledge of hotel engineering systems and preventive maintenance frameworks
Demonstrated experience managing technical teams budgets and compliance processes
Strong understanding of health & safety fire systems and regulatory requirements
Hands-on solution-oriented mindset with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally
High level of accountability discipline and risk awareness
Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification preferred
