Database Engineer Executive (Fintech) Hybrid

• Manage all database instances including installation configuration and maintenance
• Perform database maintenance and tuning activities to ensure high availability and performance
• Manage database capacity planning and scalability processes
• Design operate and maintain PostgreSQL and MSSQL high availability clusters (e.g. Patroni streaming replication SQL Server Always On)
• Automate manual database operations within defined timeframes
• Implement best practices to continuously improve service quality
• Manage database backup restore and recovery operations
• Provide high-quality database support for development teams

Qualifications :

• 5 years of hands-on experience installing configuring and administering NoSQL and RDBMS databases (PostgreSQL required; MSSQL knowledge is a strong plus)
• Experience in Payment Systems or Fintech environments
• Solid understanding of database administration architecture and infrastructure
• In-depth understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategies
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze database and OS-level metrics
• Experience in query optimization and performance tuning
• Experience in automating DBA tasks (Ansible Python etc.)
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana)
• Experience with PostgreSQL high availability solutions (Patroni experience is a plus)
