- Conducting reliability assessments and root cause analyses to enhance boiler products performance
- Making technical assessment for designed or purchased components in terms of reliability concerns
- Being able to understand and explain possible damage mechanisms act on boiler components/materials
- Developing and executing comprehensive testing protocols for combustion solutions and designing reliability test procedures
- Performing reliability tests in laboratory and giving proposals for design improvements
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement design improvements
- Preparing the specification of test machine
- Preparing the reports for tests and research studies
- Being able to understand physical damage mechanisms and failure effects
- Following up projects as reliability engineer member (Product development projects Cost-down projects ECR projects Problem solving sessions etc.)
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 4 years of proven experience in reliability engineering preferably in combustion systems or boiler technology.
- Strong understanding of combustion principles and technologies
- Experience with reliability engineering methodologies such as failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) FMECA and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and statistical methods knowledge
- Proficiency in using reliability software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Advanced communication and presentation skills in English
- Ability to work at laboratories
