We are seeking a motivated detailoriented HPLC Biochemistry Team Lead with at least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience to join our this hybrid role you will perform advanced physicochemical and HPLCbased analyses to support the characterization of earlystage biotherapeuticsincluding proteins antibodies peptides and conjugateswhile also providing daytoday leadership to a team of scientists.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced physicochemical characterization utilizing techniques such as:
- Analytical Size Exclusion Chromatography (aSEC)
- Analytical Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (aHIC)
- HighPerformance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
- Capillary Gel Electrophoresis (CGE)
- Imaged Capillary Electrophoresis (iCE/CE)
- Apply these analytical techniques across a diverse range of biologics.
- Accurately document analyze and interpret data in Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELNs).
- Collaborate with crossfunctional team members to ensure highquality timely results.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Support and monitor the performance of a team of laboratory employees.
- Participate in interviewing and evaluating new hires.
- Assist in onboarding and training new team members.
- Communicate administrative updates and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Champion and promote the companys mission and values.
- Ensure adherence to the highest standards for lab quality safety and operational efficiency.
- Maintain shift coverage coordinate workflow and oversee daily task execution.
- Conduct administrative tasks related to employee development coaching and performance.
- Balance handson technical laboratory work with peopleleadership responsibilities.
- Foster a positive collaborative and highmorale team culture.
Qualifications :
Basic Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (BS) in Biochemistry or a related scientific field.
- 2 years of handson laboratory experience in an industrial setting using HPLC chromatography and/or capillary electrophoresis.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized proactive and adaptable.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior laboratory leadership or supervisory experience.
Additional Information :
The position is full-time first shift Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Cambridge MA are encouraged to apply.
