Te kōwhiringa The Opportunity
We are seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team in this role youll be part of a dedicated crew who provide operational support on our Asphalt Contracts. You will be responsible for ensuring that asphalt plants are presented serviced maintained and operated in a professional safe and efficient manner that complies with all relevant legislation regulation and policy and achieves agreed productivity and quality targets
This is a full-time permanent position that will require overtime or weekend shifts occasionally.

Wed value the following skills and experience; however full training will be provided for the right candidate:
Full Class 1 NZ Drivers Licence essential WTR is beneficial
Experience or exposure to civil plant operations
Mechanical experience will be beneficial
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will work with an extensive range of Downer and contracting crew members
Commitment to a high standard of Health & Safety
Experienced and able to learn computer systems
