Are you a highly skilled and experienced Sterile Processing professional ready to take the reins and guide a vital team Do you thrive on ensuring precision patient safety and operational flow in a dynamic surgical environment If you possess a minimum of three years of dedicated sterile processing experience including at least one year in a leadership capacity we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Guiding and mentoring a dedicated team of technicians ensuring every instrument is meticulously processed and readily available for our surgical suites.
• Knowing that your leadership in sterile technique directly contributes to preventing surgical site infections and optimizing patient safety.
• Collaborating seamlessly with our OR staff to anticipate needs troubleshoot challenges and guarantee a smooth uninterrupted surgical schedule.
• Implementing innovative strategies embracing new technologies and continuously elevating our sterile processing capabilities.

• High School / General Studies (GED) required.
• Minimum three (3) years technical operating/instrument room experience required.
• Prior supervisory experience required
• AHA Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) required
• Fire Safety within 90 Days of start date required.
• Certified and Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required.
• Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Tech (CSPDT) required.
• Cert Sterile Processing Dist Tech (CSPDT -CBSPD) required.

Preferred

• College Degree in a related field preferred.
• Accredited Central Service/Sterile Processing Program and/or Surgical Technology Program preferred.
• Hospital acute care preferred.
• Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) preferred.
• Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) within 6 months preferred.
