Alternative-to-Incarceration Programs:
Provide guidance and supervision to Case Management team including weekly individual and team meetings
Ensure the proper monitoring and documentation of participant program including school attendance
Ensure treatment plans on a quarterly basis more if indicated
Ensure accurate and timely data entry of all participant information into the agencys database
Oversee the process of developing progress update reports for the courts and/or probation;
Mentoring and Community-Based Programs:
Provide guidance and supervision to the Mentoring team including weekly individual and team meetings
Create a monthly schedule of activities culminating events field trips and other youth development activities
Develop and coordinate high-quality youth development activities including the hiring and management of all outside teaching artist consultants and partner organizations
Oversee the delivery of the Interactive Journaling curriculum
Develop partnerships with community-based organizations provide referrals to afterschool activities vocational opportunities and academic support
Ensure accurate and timely data entry of all participant information into the agencys database
Prepare monthly progress report on participant outcomes
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Masters degree in education youth development social work or other related field degree preferred
Minimum 5 years experience in case management youth program development implementation and evaluation
Minimum 2 years management/supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of community-based resources afterschool activities and opportunities available to youth and families
Knowledge of and strong interest in juvenile justice issues and positive youth development best practices
Strong public speaking networking writing and organizational skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
