Program Overview PEO IWS 5
Leidos supports the U.S. Navys PEO IWS 5 program by modernizing shipboard sonar systems through the removal of legacy equipment and installation of the AN/SQQ-89(V)15 Anti-Submarine Warfare system. The program includes logistics support system installation and testing quality assurance and training of Navy personnel to operate and maintain the upgraded systems ensuring enhanced fleet readiness and undersea warfare capability.
Position Overview
Leidos is seeking an entry-level Logistics Analyst to support the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 system. Both hardware and software components of the system are in spiral development requiring close coordination between engineering and logistics. The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for understanding the impact of system changes on logistics products and supporting the Logistics team in the development and maintenance of product support deliverables throughout the system lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) Engineering Changes (ECs) and related documentation to assess impacts on logistics products
- Support the Logistics team in the development and maintenance of logistics deliverables with a primary focus on Configuration Management
- Understand and maintain traceability between logistics products including maintenance planning supply support and configuration management
- Participate in system and design reviews to provide logistics input and ensure lifecycle support considerations are addressed
- Assist with documentation updates and coordination across cross-functional engineering and program teams
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and interest or foundational exposure to logistics engineering support or technical program environments
- 02 years of experience supporting logistics configuration management engineering documentation or technical projects
(Internships co-ops academic projects military experience or part-time roles may be considered in lieu of full-time experience) - Basic ability to read and understand technical documentation and follow structured processes
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and documents
- Willingness to learn DoD acquisition logistics and lifecycle support processes
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across multiple facets of Logistics Support including maintenance planning provisioning and configuration management
- Experience with engineering documentation and drawings including parts lists and source control documents
- Experience reviewing ECPs and assessing impacts to logistics products
- Familiarity with NAVSEA programs and lifecycle support environments
- Experience using SharePoint Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Excel
