Summary:

The Senior Manager Communications will lead HUBs external and internal communications strategy in Canada. This roleis responsible forshaping HUBs public reputation through media relations executive positioning and thought leadership while also strengthening internal engagement through strategicand relevantemployee communications. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer strategic thinker and collaborative partner who can connect external storytelling with internalengagement. This position reports to the Directorof Corporate Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a member of HUBsCorporate Communications teamprotecting and promoting HUBs brand reputationinternally and externallyacross Canada.

  • Develop and execute proactive media relations strategies including securing interviews managing story opportunities and placing leadership-authored content.

  • Build andmaintainrelationships with key national regional and trade media; collaborate with external PR agencies or consultants whenappropriate.

  • Anticipate and address potential public relations opportunities or issues advising Canadian leadership and communications partners onappropriate strategies.

  • Lead the creation and editing of a wide range of communications materials for internal and external audiences ensuring alignment with HUBs brand voice and business goals.

  • Partner closely with the President of Canada Canadian leadershipteamandinternal subject matter experts to advance HUBs thought leadership and reputation.

  • Collaboratewithregional leads tosupport internal communications initiatives that drive employee engagement and understanding of HUBs strategy values and business priorities (e.g. executive messaging internal announcements town halls intranetcontent).

  • Leaddevelopmenttranslationand distributionof monthly internal communications to Canada employees.

  • Oversee development and maintenance of HUB Canada media materials including media kits talking points presentations and digital/visual assets.

  • Monitor analyze and report on media coverage and PR performance; share insights and recommendations to strengthen communication impact.

  • Collaborate across the Corporate Communications and Marketing teams to align messaging campaigns and content across paid earned shared and owned channels.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Marketing Journalism ora relatedfield.

  • 810 years of progressive experience in communicationspreferably in a corporate or agency environmentwith exposure to both internal and external communications.

  • Proventrack recordin developing and executing media relations strategies and producing strong press and publicity materials.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business topics into clear engaging messages for multiple audiences.

  • Excellent writing editing and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Experience supporting executives with message development and thought leadership initiatives.

  • Knowledge of media monitoring analytics and database tools (e.g. Cision MeltwaterBrandwatch Critical Mention).

  • Collaborative proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced matrixed environment.

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ as well as the law in Colorado: The expected salary range for this position is $10000K to $112000K and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
