Day-to-Day

Prepare review and compile quarterly and annual SEC filings and investor reports
Collect validate and document financial statement support and related disclosures
Reconcile ledger to source information analyze variances and identify key drivers
Coordinate internal and external reviews of financial statements and footnotes
Support ad-hoc projects and special requests from leadership and stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including actuarial risk management investor relations and finance operations

Qualifications

CPA strongly preferred
Financial reporting (SEC reporting) or accounting experience ideally within financial services
Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement preparation
Exceptional presentation and communication skills; this role will have regular interaction with senior leadership
