CAE one of the largest business aviation training facilities is looking for a Simulator Technician in our Oklahoma City OK this role you will perform preventative maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated simulator systems.
Assist in diagnosing and correcting technical issues on simulators and related systems.
Record and track maintenance activities using the maintenance management system.
Complete all required and assigned training activities.
Perform preflight and postflight checks on designated simulators.
Perform basic visual alignments.
Run automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG).
Assist with refurbishment activities and hardware modifications.
Learn and comply with CAEs quality management system.
Provide customer service support and respond to customer needs in a timely manner.
Perform housekeeping functions to maintain simulator condition.
Execute logistics duties including receiving parts repairs testing and validation.
Complete administrative tasks as required.
Support the technical services group with tasks as needed.
2year technical degree or 4 years of experience in an electronic avionic or technical-related field.
Minimum of 02 years of relevant experience.
Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
Ability to interpret system prints and schematics.
Proficiency using test equipment (oscilloscope multimeter signal generator logic analyzer etc.).
Knowledge of analog and digital theory.
Computer literacy (PC and/or computer mainframe/architecture).
Proficiency in soldering and circuit board repair.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and suite.
