Fire & Security Installer Description:
Overview -----Entry Level Position-----
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fire & Security Installer to join our team.
This role is responsible for installing programming and commissioning life safety systems on commercial and industrial job sites.
The ideal candidate works well independently communicates effectively and takes pride in delivering high quality workmanship.
Qualifications
Must be able to pass a North Carolina background check.
Clean valid drivers license.
Preferred 1 year of experience in the construction industry preferably in electrical or low voltage trades.
Proficiency with computers and basic software tools.
Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks without constant supervision.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and system prints.
Responsibilities:
Daily travel to job sites (standard work schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM4:00 PM).
Install Fire and Security life safety systems in accordance with plans specifications and applicable codes.
Perform installation tasks including:
Pulling and routing wire
Mounting and terminating devices
System programming
System testing and commissioning
Communicate effectively with team members supervisors contractors and customers.
Complete all documentation and installation paperwork accurately and on time.
Work independently to complete assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.
Availability to work overtime stay late or work outside standard hours when needed.
