Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Lead Carpet & Flooring Technician to lead cleaning and restoration projects while ensuring exceptional service quality. This role is responsible for performing advanced carpet and floor cleaning services supervising technicians and managing on-site operations for residential and commercial clients.
The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of carpet cleaning water damage restoration and equipment operation along with the leadership ability to guide a team and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities
Lead carpet and floor cleaning services using hot water extraction steam cleaning and other professional methods
Oversee water damage restoration including water extraction drying and dehumidification
Train and support technicians to ensure quality and efficiency
Maintain and troubleshoot cleaning and restoration equipment
Provide customers with service explanations recommendations and estimates
Ensure all services meet company standards and safety guidelines
Inspect completed jobs to maintain high quality control
Manage job documentation and communicate with office staff regarding schedules and service updates
Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in carpet or floor cleaning
Experience with water damage restoration equipment and procedures
Leadership or team supervision experience preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to handle physically demanding work environments
Valid Drivers License required
IICRC certification is a plus
