Salary: $8.25 per hour (max. 20 hours per week) |
Schedule: Work hours will take place between 7:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. based upon availability of the Student Worker. (Not to exceed 20 hours per week) |
Position Summary: The duties of the JSU Child Development Center (CDC) Federal Work Study Student Worker are to obtain work experience on campus in the CDC. Duties may include assisting staff and faculty with preparation for classroom instruction departmental operational needs or performing administrative and other support duties as required. The Student Worker will assist with creating and developing lesson material games and manipulatives for the preschool addition the Student Worker will work with individual and small groups of children to develop their emerging pre-reading and pre-math skills self-help skills and social skills. Positions may be filled based on individual applicants skills qualifications and departmental needs. **Must be eligible for Federal Work Study.
