Your new role

In this role you will provide end-to-end legal support across the pharmaceutical value chain with a strong focus on proactively identifying and managing legal regulatory and compliance risks. You will act as a trusted legal partner to the business contributing expert advice on complex matters while supporting cross-functional initiatives and ensuring alignment with applicable laws regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as subject matter expert for legal matters including pharma law litigation commercial and competition law anti-corruption (LEA) and clinical operations.
  • Provide legal guidance on commercial cooperation agreements with private entities pharmacies and pharmacy networks ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Draft review and negotiate commercial contracts such as rebate agreements distribution arrangements and promotional activities.
  • Proactively identify legal and compliance risks and develop pragmatic business-oriented solutions.
  • Serve as the primary legal contact for the French Clinical Development Centre (CDC) and represent LEC in the FR CDC Leadership Team.
  • Support strategic decision-making by advising stakeholders monitoring legal developments and improving legal processes and best practices.

Your New Department

Our Legal & Compliance team consists of 3 lawyers and one senior compliance manager and is supervised by the Legal and Compliance Director. Your skills & Qualifications

  • Law degree (LLB or equivalent) required; advanced legal qualifications (LLM) and Bar admission preferred.
  • 68 years of relevant legal experience including providing strategic legal counsel and managing complex matters preferably in pharmaceutical sector or large distribution/retail environments.
  • Proven experience in drafting reviewing approving and negotiating legal documents as well as representing organisations in specialised proceedings.
  • Strong legal expertise in contracts compliance and corporate/pharma-related law with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset able to anticipate risks and deliver pragmatic business-oriented legal solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • High ethical standards integrity and sound judgement in all legal and compliance matters.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team development.
