Job Summary
Rincon Middle School is seeking a dynamic Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA)Teacherfor the remainder of the 2025-26 school year. This position focuses on fostering creativity and innovation through a multidisciplinary approach emphasizing visual performing and media arts. Students engage in creative projects that involve the arts and making skills fostering creativity and problem-solving
This is a temporary contract position ending on June 10 2026.
Requirements:
- Valid CaliforniaMultiple Subject Credential OR
- Valid Single Subject Art or Art Authorization

SALARY PLACEMENT:
Based on educational units and years of full-time teaching experience. Maximum placement is Class IV Step 11 (with 10 years of teaching experience).
HEALTH BENEFITS:
Based on the selected plan/provider full-time employees receive family medical coverage employee life and vision and employee or family dental coverage. Part-time employees receive benefits equal to the % worked.
WORK CALENDAR:
The calendar is 185 work days. All new employees are on an 11-month pay schedule. Returning employees are on a 12-month pay schedule.
