As a leading luxury menswear retailer operating across Canada Harry Rosen is seeking a Manager HR Programs to join our growing team. The Manager Human Resources Programs is an operational leader responsible for the day-to-day delivery of core HR programs across Store locations nationally and the Central Office in Toronto. This includes Associate relations health & safety disability and absence management HR policy administration benefits training and compliance ensuring programs are executed consistently efficiently and in alignment with company standards and Core Values. With a strong customer-oriented and collaborative mindset the Manager delivers practical HR solutions enhances the Associate experience and supports frontline operations and business performance.

Key functions include:

  • Lead day-to-day employee relations cases and drive positive experiences by guiding Leaders and Associates through workplace issues fostering respect fairness and collaboration.
  • Lead health & safety programs nationally and oversee compliance audits and claims management.
  • Manage disability and other leaves facilitating return-to-work plans.
  • Lead ongoing maintenance of HR policies driving annual reviews and translating updates into clear Associate-facing content.
  • Lead benefits and compensation administration including market survey participation benchmarking Associate benefit onboarding life-cycle changes and open enrollment execution.
  • Support training and development initiatives manage compliance training and optimize learning authoring tools.
  • Collaborate with leaders and cross functional teams drive process improvements and foster engagement.
  • Lead by example promoting company core values and high-performance culture.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field; CHRP designation is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading HR operational functions and programs.
  • Previous experience working in a retail environment with high service orientation and with an understanding of the unique HR challenges and opportunities in the retail sector is strongly preferred.
  • Workday or similar HRIS experience required along with advanced Excel and Microsoft suite skills. Experience with learning authoring tools like Articulate is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and French is considered a strong asset.
  • Adaptable and agile thriving in fast-paced environments while seamlessly shifting between tactical execution and high-level focus.
  • Exceptional customer orientation collaboration and communication skills; proven ability to work with leaders at all levels cross-functional teams and all internal and external partners.
  • Understanding and application of provincial employment legislation including ESA AODA/IASR Occupational Health & Safety Human Rights etc.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement problem solving orientation and operational excellence within HR functions

** Compensation for this role will be dependent on skills experience and seniority. The starting compensation range for this role is $90 000 - $105000 annually.
