Job Responsibilities:
- Address customer concerns by listening to description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules
- Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions
- Develops estimates by costing materials supplies and labor; calculating customers payment including deductibles
- Prepares repair orders (ROs) by describing symptoms problems and causes discovered as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system
- Communication liaison between the customer and the technician
- Maintains customer rapport by explaining and prioritizing needed vehicle repairs and maintenance; managing customers expectations; obtaining customers approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact information (phone numbers addresses email addresses); answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation
- Maintains automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers publications
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Requirements:
- Service Advisors must have previous automotive Service Advisor experience
- Require strong verbal and written communications skills
- Required to be produce high sales levels while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Ability to understand and keep abreast of the federal state and local regulations that affect their operations
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
- Must consent to and pass a drug/background screen
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiasm strong communication skills positive attitude ambition work ethic professional conduct high integrity and dedication to personal improvement

- Ability to work evenings until 9:00 PM
