About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Field Service Representative to support the installation maintenance and performance optimization of advanced electro-optical and opto-mechanical systems. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working at the intersection of engineering technology and field operations while solving complex technical challenges.
In this position you will work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure the successful deployment calibration and servicing of multidisciplinary electro-optical systems. You will play a critical role in maintaining system reliability diagnosing technical issues and supporting system upgrades both at company facilities and customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Perform maintenance troubleshooting calibration and repair of complex electro-optical and opto-mechanical systems.
- Diagnose technical issues across electrical mechanical and optical subsystems and implement effective corrective actions.
- Conduct preventative maintenance activities to ensure optimal system reliability and operational performance.
- Calibration and Engineering Testing
- Conduct fine optomechanical calibrations to maintain precise system alignment and functionality.
- Perform engineering tests and system validation procedures to confirm performance specifications.
- Analyze system behavior and identify opportunities for technical improvements.
- System Integration
- Integrate electrical hardware software and opto-mechanical components into multidisciplinary electro-optical systems.
- Assist with system configuration alignment and integration during development and deployment phases.
- Support engineering teams in troubleshooting integration challenges.
- Installation and Field Deployment
- Support system installations upgrades and acceptance testing at company facilities and customer sites.
- Ensure systems are properly configured aligned and fully operational during commissioning.
- Provide on-site technical expertise during system deployment and testing.
- Technical Documentation and Reporting
- Document troubleshooting procedures maintenance activities and technical findings to support continuous improvement.
- Prepare clear and accurate service reports following field activities.
- Maintain technical documentation related to system performance and maintenance.
- Collaboration and Support
- Collaborate with engineering project management and customer support teams to deliver high-quality system integration and service.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to process improvements.
- Travel
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support system installations field service activities and customer operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Optical Engineering Physics or a related technical field.
- Experience working with electro-optical optical or opto-mechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical mechanical and optical system integration.
- Experience performing system troubleshooting calibration and diagnostics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics engineering drawings and system documentation.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in field service technical support or system integration roles.
- Experience working with precision optical equipment sensors or imaging systems.
- Familiarity with software-controlled instrumentation or embedded systems.
- Experience supporting customer installations and field deployments.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with technical teams.
