Job Summary

Hold a current license by the NJ Board of Medical Examiners in Medicine or Osteopathy and shall have a training and scope of practice that includes child and adolescent health and development
Show evidence of successful health care experience working with children and adolescents.
Shall have completed the Student Athlete Cardiac Screening Professional Development Module
Hold a drivers license with no serious violations
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child growth and development wellness education community health and social service resources and current health issues
Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative
Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and the interpersonal skills to relate with students staff administrators parents school nurses and the community and health and social service agencies.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing using proper grammar and vocabulary
Provide proof of U.S. citizenship
Provide proof that a criminal record history has been conducted and clearance has been given by the Department of Education and finger printing taken in accordance with procedures established by the Commissioner of Education
Provide evidence that health is adequate to fulfill the job function
Must be available for onsite medical consultation weekly. Must complete Medical Services as per N.J.A.C. 6A:2
