About the Role:
The Key Account Manager for the Nordics will be responsible for managing allocated customers and prospecting new business opportunities in Denmark. The role will also work closely with and support the Business Manager Nordics on Systembolaget-related activities including the tender process distribution tracking and associated administration.
You will focus on ensuring continuity and momentum across commercial activities. As the KAM you will establish develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support both existing partnerships and new customer development.
As the Key Account Manager you will also coordinate sales and consumer activities manage sales and office administration and support the Business Manager in short and longer-term commercial initiatives where relevant.
This role will be offered on a Fixed-Term Maternity-Cover basis and can be based either in our Stockholm or Twickenham offices.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Account Prioritization: Support BM manager Nordics in identifying which DK accounts are most strategic and require focused attention based on revenue potential growth opportunities and alignment with Treasury Collective goals.
Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the Business Manager to align key account strategies with overall business goals.
Performance Evaluation and Reporting: Assessing the success of key account strategies tracking progress towards established objectives and provide insights to the Business Manager for strategic decision-making.
Negotiations: Contract negotiations pricing discussions and terms agreements.
Problem Solving: Addressing challenges and resolving issues that arise within key accounts finding solutions to meet customer needs.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with various departments such as sales marketing operations and customer support to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services to key accounts.
Market and Competitor Analysis: Analysing market trends competitor activities and industry developments to identify opportunities and potential threats that could impact key accounts.
Business Development: Contribute to the identification of new business opportunities and market trends.
Relationship Management: Deciding on the approach to building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster loyalty and trust.
Risk Management: Evaluating potential risks associated with key accounts such as financial instability or changes in business priorities and developing mitigation strategies.
Commercial Responsibility: Including all aspects of budgeting forecasting sales delivery & profitability and managing trade spend within agreed guidelines.
Administration: responsible for office administration (product administration creating POs processing invoices tracking samples etc).
What Were Looking For:
Excellent Swedish and English - both verbal and written communication skills
Danish language an advantage but not essential
Ability and confidence in interaction with senior management
Proven track record of delivery and targeted performance
Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
Ability to manage projects
Self-motivated and discipline
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Access Outlook)
Strong communication skills confident and capable of operating at all levels
Numerate and analytical
Influencing and negotiating expertise
