What can you expect in a Software Engineer in Test (IT Quality Analyst) role with TaskUs:

The Software Engineer in Test (IT Quality Analyst) is responsible for ensuring the quality reliability and performance of Endeavors internal applications through automated and manual testing practices. The role collaborates with software engineers business analysts and architects to design and execute comprehensive test strategies for both functional and integration layers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated test frameworks and reusable test scripts for web API and backend components.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure test coverage and adherence to quality standards.

• Perform functional regression integration and performance testing as part of CI/CD pipelines.

• Identify document and track defects ensuring timely resolution and revalidation.

• Support test data setup environment validation and production readiness checks.

• Contribute to continuous improvement in automation coverage process efficiency and test reliability.

Required Qualifications:

• 13 years of experience in quality engineering automation or software testing.

• Hands-on experience with Selenium Cypress or Playwright for automation.

• Proficiency in API testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Experience with GCP or AWS Git and CI/CD environments.

• Understanding of SQL and data validation practices.

• Knowledge of Workforce Management or enterprise applications is an advantage.

Education / Certifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.

• Work Location: Work from Home (Onsite as needed)
