Role Title

Accounting Summer COOP

Purpose of role

Foresters Financial is looking to hire talented post-secondary student to join our Financial Management Office. This is a great opportunity for students to learn and gain valuable exposure within financial services and accounting.

Job Description

Key responsibilities/accountabilities

Data entry into accounts payable system for cheque and EFT payments
Reviewing and processing expense reports in Workday
Sorting and distributing daily cheques
Running reports for daily cheque distribution
Light filing
Box packing of storage room

Key Qualifications/Competencies

Completed a minimum of one (1) year post-secondary education and will be returning to school in the fall.
Excellent written and verbal communication
Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
Organized and self-motivated learner
Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
This role requires the successful candidate to be onsite at 789 Don Mills Road Monday - Thursday with the ability to work from home on Friday.

Salary Range:

$18.00-$23.00 per hour

The actual base salary for this position will depend on several factors including job-related skills experience and addition to base pay eligible employees may participate in a discretionary variable incentive plan results are subject to both individual and company performance.
