Job Description:
- This person will contribute to the companys success by participating in digital circuit design and product integration.
- This role will report directly to a Senior Engineering Manager and is responsible for successfully designing digital circuit boards for radios and associated equipment as well as working with cross-functional teams to support product integration and manufacturing introduction.
Essential Functions:
- Support digital and related analog hardware research design and development of circuit board assemblies
- Develop requirements from high-level use cases and product description documents
- Digital hardware printed circuit board design including requirement analysis high level design schematic capture and layout analysis
- Make design decisions and assess technical risks
- Perform simulation and analysis such as digital signal integrity
- Perform integration with other subsystems
- Perform subsystem and system level verification and validation testing
- Identify track and repair assigned hardware defects
- Ability to obtain a US security clearance
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with automation tools such as Python LabVIEW
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC design and test techniques for conducted and radiated emissions (MIL-STD-461)
- Knowledge of environmental test methods and techniques (MIL-STD-810)
- Basic understanding of Radio Frequency circuits and architectures
- Experience with Boundary Scan methodologies and tools
