Job Summary

The Data and Logistics Officer oversees the collection validation and reporting of field-level service data for SCHs routine programs and emergency response initiatives including earthquake recovery activities in affected regions. The role also entails coordinating procurement transportation storage and distribution functions in support of SCHs earthquake response operations. This includes planning implementing and supervising logistical processes across project locations in compliance with SCH policies and donor requirements ensuring the efficient transparent delivery of goods and services to impacted addition the position promotes data-informed decision-making by ensuring accurate data collection cleaning analysis and timely reporting. The Data and Logistics Officer collaborates closely with field teams Sun clinics and mobile outreach units to maintain data quality and provide operational support to the Regional Manager and other relevant stakeholders.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Verify data accuracy resolve inconsistencies and ensure completeness of submitted reports.

Maintain secure organized databases and backups for all relevant indicators.

Prepare routine and ad-hoc data summaries dashboards and narrative reports.

Support the Regional Manager with timely data inputs for donor updates and internal planning.

Identify trends gaps or anomalies and flag them for review.

Liaise with regional field staff to support data collection and capacity building.

Provide remote or in-person guidance on data entry form use and indicator definitions.

Coordinate with Clinic Assistants to ensure timely submission of MCRs consultation logs and incentive tracking sheets.

Assist in implementing monitoring tools and updating performance tracking sheets.

Contribute to data-for-action processes and support evidence-based adjustments to outreach strategies. Ensure data documentation aligns with SCH standards and donor requirements.

Prepare datasets for audits evaluations or internal reviews.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure data protection protocols are followed.

Develop and update logistics plans and distribution schedules for relief operations.

Coordinate closely with program finance and field staff to align logistics with operational needs.

Assist to carry out procurement of emergency supplies (e.g. NFI kits medicine kits and others) in accordance with SCH procurement policy and emergency thresholds.

Maintain procurement trackers and ensure transparency and proper documentation.

Organize and supervise transport of personnel and relief items to and from affected areas.

Maintain transport records oversee vehicle safety and fuel management and supervise drivers.

Set up and manage temporary field warehouses or mobile storage solutions.

Track inventory using stock cards GRNs and delivery notes; conduct regular stock counts.

Oversee distribution events and ensure proper documentation (beneficiary lists signed receipts and supported providers).

Coordinate with field teams to ensure secure and accountable delivery of item

Ensure compliance with SCH and donor guidelines on logistics procurement and asset management.

Submit timely logistics reports and contribute to donor reports and audits as needed.

Liaise with local authorities and field teams to monitor safety and access conditions.

Implement transport safety measures and advise on logistics risk mitigation.

Perform other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor.


Qualifications :

Proper and timely documentation ensuring readiness for internal reviews and donor audits.

Teamwork and adaptability especially in mobile or emergency environments. Deliverables:

Submit weekly and monthly data and logistic activity reports dashboards and summaries that reflect service delivery outreach activities and response coverage.

Ensure all submitted data from clinics mobile teams and Clinic Assistants is complete validated and free of inconsistencies.

Provide clean organized datasets and analysis to support performance tracking donor reporting and evidence-based program adjustments.

Lessons learned and recommendations for logistics improvement (post-response).

 

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in public health statistics information systems social sciences logistics supply chain or related field.

At least 12 years of experience in data entry analysis or reporting in NGO or healthcare settings.

At least 3 years of experience in logistics or operations with 1 years in emergency or humanitarian contexts.

Demonstrated coordination. experience with procurement warehousing and transport

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables charts) Word and data management tools.

Experience with DHIS2 Power BI Kobo Toolbox logistic software/tool or other digital data platforms is an asset.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Ability to travel frequently to remote field locations under challenging conditions
