As the Senior Workday Specialist you will be responsible for creating a Workday experience the People Experience team and the business can trust and easily navigate. You will maintain system foundations streamline processes and collaborate across teams to ensure Workday aligns with real-world ways of working. This role balances hands-on configuration and support with strategic thinking continuous improvement and stakeholder addition you are expected to play an active role in the maintenance updates enhancements and deployment of new releases and documentation of key People Experience projects that leverage the Workday platform.

Responsibilities
Serve as the expert for Workday modules (e.g. HCM Benefits Recruiting Talent Time Tracking Learning etc. based on organization needs).
Function as primary point-of-contact for day-to-day support of business processes integration support reporting and dashboards to ensure consistent high-quality business operations.
Partner with our People Experience team and other internal stakeholders to help them define business requirements implement evaluate and deploy additional HCM modules changes to business processes or integrations as needed.
Develop or enhance system reporting and analytics to enable our People Experience business partners to identify trends and to empower leadership decision-making.
Configure maintain and enhance business processes security roles eligibility rules and condition logic.
Troubleshoot complex system issues and partner with Workday support as needed.
Support and assess Workday system updates or upgrades.
Gather feedback to identify system gaps and deficiencies and if applicable suggest best practices or process improvements to help fill those gaps.
Conduct long-term improvement projects to ensure compatibility with the companys evolving business applications landscape and needs.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in human resources Information Systems Computer Science Business administration or a related field preferred.
Certification in one or more Workday modules (HCM Recruiting Benefits Reporting etc. preferred).
At least 5 years of experience administering and supporting Workday.
Strong configuration knowledge of Workday including Workday Recruiting Core HCM Benefits Absence and Performance Management. Most importantly the recruiting module.
Strong Workday Reporting including Advanced Reports Matrix composite reports and calculated fields.
Proficiency in Workday security compliance and controls to effectively manage and maintain security and roles.
Comprehension of Workday integrations troubleshooting and maintenance.
Experience working with confidential information and critical business operations and processes.
High attention to detail and sense of urgency.
Flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements or objectives.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with aggressive timelines and delivery dates.
Effective communication and people skills including the ability to set clear expectations with stakeholders and escalate issues as needed.
