Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Proofpoint Security Engineer with strong expertise in deployment configuration and operationalization of the Proofpoint platform.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing Proofpoint capabilities developing policies and reports and managing incident triage and remediation processes in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Proofpoint Platform Deployment & Configuration

Deploy and configure Proofpoint platform capabilities including:

OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
-
EDM (Enterprise Digital Management / Email Data Management)
-
IDM (Insider Threat / Identity Data Management)
-

Develop and maintain email security policies and custom reporting.
-
Support platform upgrades enhancements and configuration management.
Operationalization & Incident Management
-
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
-
Lead triage and incident remediation efforts related to email security threats.
-
Monitor and analyze alerts to identify and mitigate security risks.
-
Ensure consistent operational governance and documentation practices.
Use Case Development & Project Delivery

Participate in the end-to-end use case development lifecycle.
-
Collaborate with stakeholders to define detection and prevention strategies.

Support project planning execution and delivery milestones.
Required Skills
-
6-8 years of experience in cybersecurity or email security engineering roles.

Strong hands-on experience with the Proofpoint platform.
-
Experience deploying and managing OCR EDM IDM and related policy/report development.

Experience in incident triage response and remediation processes.

Strong understanding of email security threats and controls.
Secondary Skills

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Experience in project-based delivery environments.

Familiarity with use case development lifecycle processes.
