ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a hands-on detail-oriented Audio Visual Specialist to support critical AV and IT infrastructure at Fort this role you will be the go-to expert for ensuring our audiovisual equipment and communication systems operate flawlessly. This position blends technical configuration with physical hands-on installation and maintenance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate configure and troubleshoot daily Audio Visual (AV) and Information Technology (IT) systems.
- Manage and adjust all equipment settings to ensure optimal performance for normal operations and special events.
- Perform physical installation maintenance and adjustment of AV equipment across various facilities on base.
- Communicate effectively with end-users and team members to understand AV needs and resolve issues quickly.
- Complete required foundational training for key AV control and DSP systems (Crestron AMX Biamp and Extron) within 120 days of the contract award/start date.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Associates degree in a related field; OR three (3) years of technical field experience providing direct audio visual support.
- Must possess a baseline InfoComm/AVIXA International Certification in Audiovisual Technology (and maintain it with no lapse in recertification).
- Must have the physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and the ability to comfortably climb and work at heights of up to 20 feet.
- Solid oral and written communication skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS & CERTIFICATION:
- InfoComm/AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist - Installation (CTS-I) certification is highly preferred.
