ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Management System (LMS) Course Specialist to develop administer and sustain critical training capabilities at Fort this role you will be the driving force behind our online education platforms ensuring that course content is engaging accessible and up-to-date. If you have a strong background in Army Distributed Learning Systems and a proven track record of managing end-to-end LMS environments from course creation to community engagementwe want you to help shape the future of our training programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop implement and sustain robust Learning Management System (LMS) capabilities to support ongoing training initiatives including classified training sites.
- Design and build engaging online courses and training modules directly within the LMS environment.
- Administer day-to-day LMS operations including user management course enrollment and system troubleshooting.
- Manage and update LMS content to ensure all training materials remain current accurate and highly effective.
- Drive community engagement within the LMS fostering a collaborative and interactive online learning environment for all users.
- Develop and sustain long-term online training strategies that align with organizational goals.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Must provide verifiable proof of experience working specifically with Army Distributed Learning Systems (ALMS or similar).
- Candidate resumes must clearly demonstrate the following:
- 2 years of experience developing courses within an LMS.
- 2 years of experience administering courses in an LMS.
- 2 years of experience managing LMS content.
- 2 years of experience managing community engagement within an LMS.
- 2 years of experience developing and sustaining online training programs.
MANDATORY POST-AWARD TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Blackboard is the current LMS supporting Army Distributed Learning. The following Army Online Blackboard courses will be provided at no cost but must be completed within 30 days of contract award:
- Army Blackboard 101 Instructors Basic Training (10 hours)
- Army Blackboard 201 Exemplary Course Design Training (14 hours)
- Army Blackboard 301 Domain Administrator Training (4 hours)
- Army Blackboard Institutional Hierarchy Training (3 hours)
- Army Blackboard Learning Content Management System (LCMS) Interface to Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS) Training (2 hours)
- Army Blackboard Certificate Management Tool Training (2 hours)
Required Skills:
