What youll be doing

As a member of CIBCs team the Group Product Manager Ways to Pay Payment Journey will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives on a range of payment services and journeys including Debit Cards Bill Payments and Pre-Authorized Debits (PADs). Working closely with the Director of Ways to Pay Payment journey youll be responsible for end-to-end client experience product and risks associated with the portfolio. You will have the overall responsibility to monitor business performance support business operations drive product strategy and identify investment opportunities. You will be responsible in coming up with our product vision and roadmap to increase adoption and modernize end to end customer and colleague addition you will be partnering with various teams within the bank to deliver product enhancements and features to achieve defined product vision and roadmap.

How youll succeed

  • Product management - Strong knowledge and experience in product management strategic planning and project management sufficient to identify develop and implement approved initiatives (experience preferably in financial services).

  • Analytical - Understand and interpret complex information identify patterns and trends in new or strategic areas and develop recommendations often with minimal direction in order to respond to urgent business priorities.

  • Leadership - Well-developed management and leadership skills sufficient to achieve results within a matrix organization including the ability to bring about change at a senior level.

  • Relationship management - Meet business objectives by managing relationships and working effectively with internal and external partners including Marketing and other lines of business partners and vendors.

  • You can demonstrate experience in business planning business model development and pricing best-practices (5 years). You also have in-depth knowledge of payment products. You have strategic planning skills sufficient to establish and co-ordinate complex assignments and projects which can be ambiguous in nature.
