Job Summary

Patriot Towing & Transport Inc a 24hr towing/recovery and heavy equipment transport company located at 58 N Donnerville Rd Mountville Pa 17554 is seeking an automotive/equipment transport technician who is dedicated to the towing industry lifestyle (similar to fire department operations). Must possess a valid CDL-A license or have acquired the CDL-A permit. Towing experience is a plus but not absolute as long as the individual is extremely dedicated to learning all facets of the industry. Must be a reliable team player with extreme willingness to serve wherever and whenever needed.

Main Responsibilities:

- Towing and Transport operations

- Truck Maintenance

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while loading securing and unloading vehicles and equipment

- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of vehicles

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tow truck to ensure it is in safe working condition

- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of all tows and transports

- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the tow truck

- Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of the tow truck as needed

- Merit increases are available and dependent on value to the community customers and company.

- Ability to take assignments after hours and on weekends as needed by the community.

Requirements:

- Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Preferred

- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug test

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and make decisions in high-pressure situations (We are NOT your babysitter

- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
