Position Summary
We are seeking an Intermediate Project Coordinator to support the delivery of fire protection projects across commercial and institutional environments. This role is both a planner/scheduler and project coordinator acting as a key bridge between field teams and Project Managers to ensure schedules resources and reporting stay aligned.
This position is ideal for a highly collaborative detail-oriented coordinator with strong organizational and scheduling skills who is ready to grow into a future Project Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and planning
Develop maintain and track project schedules
Act as a liaison between field crews and management to ensure accurate communication and schedule alignment
Maintain project documentation including drawings RFIs submittals permits and inspection records
Coordinate inspections testing material deliveries and close-out documentation
Track milestones change orders and project status to support reporting and decision-making
Learn and use Procore to manage project information and generate required reports
Qualifications & Experience
3 years of experience in project coordination scheduling or construction administration
Experience in fire protection mechanical electrical or construction environments
Strong Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain schedules trackers and reports
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work closely with both field and office teams
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
Comfortable working with technical drawings and project documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with fire sprinkler fire alarm or special hazard systems
Familiarity with fire codes NFPA standards and AHJ processes
Experience with construction management software (Procore Bluebeam AutoDesk or similar)
Post-secondary education in construction management engineering technology or a related field
