As an Organisational Development Specialist with the NSW Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) youll join a small dynamic team to support employee engagement initiatives performance development and recognition programs that foster a positive workplace culture. Your efforts will drive evidence-based decisions and continuous improvement across our workforce programs.

What youll do

  • Conduct research and analyse employee experiences workplace culture and performance initiatives to spot trends and opportunities presenting findings that guide decision-making.
  • Create and implement engagement surveys interpreting responses into practical insights.
  • Design and maintain programs focused on performance growth employee recognition and succession planning.
  • Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders to promote effective communication and successful project outcomes.
  • Promote process enhancements and encourage ongoing improvement throughout the organisation.

To be successful youll need to have demonstrated experience in a similar role. Youll also need:

  • Comprehensive understanding of organisational culture workforce insights and employee engagement frameworks.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively deliver high-quality customer service and manage projects.
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities with the skill to translate complex data into clear actionable reports and presentations.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Business Management or equivalent substantial experience.
  • A strong commitment to continuous improvement.

DCCEEW conserves and protects the states natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations.

DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state to support the environment communities and industry.
