The role:
Lady Gowrie is seeking a passionate and experienced OSHC Team Leader to lead and inspire a dedicated team of educators for Launceston OSHC services:
- Permanent Part-Time: 15 hours per week
- After school care and before school care
In this role you will:
- Act as the Responsible Person in accordance with National Law and Regulations taking day-to-day charge of the service.
- Lead and mentor educators to deliver tailored quality play-based programs.
- Maintain a safe inclusive environment meeting all legal and regulatory obligations as well as NQF and LGT requirements.
- Uphold Child Safe standards and meet Mandatory Reporting Obligations
- Oversee daily operations staff supervision and family engagement

- Hold and maintain Tasmanian Registration of Working with vulnerable People (child-related activity childcare services)
- ACECQA-approved First Aid qualifications Child Safety Training & Food Safety Training (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) or child related activities
- Ability to undertake the role of Responsible Person including knowledge of the National Quality Framework and effective supervision and management of staff families and other stakeholders
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (desirable)
