Our Brisbane team is growing and we are looking for a locally based Hazardous Area Lead to join us. You will be detail-oriented with project site or consultancy experiences and work closely with our multidiscipline team of Engineers and Project Managers. You will be responsible for applying your broad skills and experience in PLC SCADA RTU Telemetry systems to update and commission these applications as well as diagnose control circuitry and other technical problems.

About you

As a Hazardous Area Lead you will ideally bring to the role:

• Current unrestricted electrical license (A class license) with automation experience;
• Capable of working in team and autonomous work environments across client sites and in our office;
• Have completed or are studying a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or be willing to undertake;
• Have hazardous Area Inspection and Maintenance certification and experience.
• Have exposure and knowledge of Hazardous Area design issues and criteria.
• Have a strong business development capability and experience with speaking with clients both existing and to uncover new.
• Excellent problem solving and fault-finding skills with hazardous area installations.
• A willingness to travel to site-based projects across Australia performing HA inspections and audits.
