Our team is based in Viana do Castelo driven to raise the hospitality standard to luxury.
The Role:
We are looking for a hands-on field-oriented Field Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee housekeeping maintenance and customer support teams on the ground.
This role is central to ensuring operational consistency quality control cost efficiency and team performance across our portfolio.
You will act as the operational bridge between strategy and execution ensuring standards are met daily.
What Youll Do:
Act as the main point of contact for guests before during and after their stay.
Manage guest inquiries requests and issue resolution with a luxury service mindset.
Support the management team with updates reporting and day-to-day operational communication.
Ensure service standards response times and brand tone are consistently met.
Coordinate and manage housekeeping maintenance and customer support field teams.
Ensure properties meet luxury standards in cleanliness maintenance and readiness at all times.
Plan and control daily weekly and seasonal operations including scheduling and workload allocation.
Define implement and track KPIs related to quality response time costs and team performance.
Manage stock control (linen amenities consumables equipment).
Negotiate and manage external suppliers and service providers (cleaning laundry maintenance logistics).
Control operational budgets and costs identifying efficiencies without compromising quality.
Perform regular on-site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards.
Collaborate closely with management to provide reporting insights and operational improvements.
Who You Are:
5 years of experience* in hospitality operations managing field teams (housekeeping maintenance or hotel operations).
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment flexible and willing to step in when needed.
Strong experience creating and implementing procedures workflows and operational standards.
Solid background in budget control and cost management.
Natural leader with strong organisational and people-management skills.
Hands-on mindset comfortable being on the ground and solving problems in real time.
Willing to work from and travel to Viana do Castelo regularly.
Valid drivers licence and own vehicle (mandatory).
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Comfortable using digital tools reporting systems and Excel.
