Job Description:
The Database Engineer role focuses on building transforming and supporting data pipelines. The position involves bringing in new data sources preparing data for applications and supporting data engineering and analysis initiatives in a FinTech environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Build and transform data pipelines
Bring in new data sources and prepare data for downstream applications
Support data engineering and data analysis initiatives
Perform data-centric testing and deployment of FinTech-based applications
Work with large datasets ETL processes and data pipelines
Collaborate in a scrum/agile SDLC environment

Required Skills:
Must-have: Python SQL Snowflake
Demonstrated ability in Data Engineering and Analysis
Proven experience with data-centric testing and deployment of FinTech applications
Proficiency in MSSQL or equivalent SQL RDBMS
Proficiency in Python
Familiarity working in a scrum/agile SDLC environment
Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience

Experience with MS Synapse and Snowflake
Nice-to-have: Azure services DBT ADF (ADF not critical)
Background in private finance (preferred but not required)
Business Intelligence and analytics application experience
Master of Science (M.S) or equivalent experience
2 3 years of automation experience
