Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality reliability and performance of our POS and payments platform. This role focuses on manual testing functional validation and collaboration with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced SaaS environment. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills a structured testing approach and a passion for improving user experience and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and execute detailed test plans test cases and test scenarios
Perform functional regression integration and exploratory testing
Identify document and track defects using bug tracking tools
Validate web mobile and API functionality to ensure system reliability
Collaborate with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
Participate in sprint planning backlog grooming and Agile ceremonies
Perform root cause analysis and support defect resolution
Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements
Assist in maintaining test documentation and testing processes
Support automation efforts by identifying test cases suitable for automation
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
14 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira TestRail)
Basic knowledge of APIs and tools such as Postman
Familiarity with SQL or databases for data validation
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
High attention to detail and organizational ability
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in POS fintech or payment systems
Basic knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress
Familiarity with CI/CD processes
Experience testing in cloud-based or SaaS environments
Understanding of performance and security testing fundamentals
