Koniag Data Solutions LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Tier 3 Level Systems Administration Support Services to support KDS and our government customer at Joint Base San Antonio TX. We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health dental and vision insurance 401K with company matching flexible spending accounts paid holidays three weeks paid time off and Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Provides expert-level support and leadership for the Defense Health Agencys systems administration services across its global network of military hospitals medical clinics and dental as a top-tier specialist responsible for designing implementing and optimizing DHAs complex IT infrastructure including approximately 3000 physical and virtual servers across 250 sites the planning implementation and management of advanced server infrastructures ensuring maximum performance availability scalability and security of IT and oversees system architectures and configurations that align with DoD cybersecurity requirements Risk Management Framework (RMF) and various DoD strategies including Zero Trust ICAM Digital Modernization and Cybersecurity Reference and implements complex system solutions to address challenging operational requirements and emerging major system upgrades migrations and consolidation projects. Develops and implements advanced automation strategies to improve efficiency reduce human error and enhance system high-level troubleshooting and problem-solving for the most complex system issues serving as the escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support in-depth performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure optimal system operation and future the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies ensuring 24-hour operational support the design and implementation of sophisticated backup and recovery solutions to safeguard critical data and a crucial role in maintaining the security posture of DHAs systems leading security hardening efforts vulnerability assessments and remediation closely with cybersecurity teams to implement and maintain advanced security controls and monitoring strategic guidance on technology adoption system architecture and best the evaluation and integration of new technologies to enhance DHAs IT and maintains high-level system documentation including architectural designs standard operating procedures and technical independently providing mentorship to Tier 1 and Tier 2 personnel and collaborating with other high-level technical experts across various IT the systems administration team in cross-functional projects and high-level planning :Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related technical field. Masters degree certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Red Hat Certified Design Expert or equivalent) are highly :8-10 years of progressive experience in systems administration with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role managing enterprise-level have extensive experience in designing and managing complex multi-site server infrastructures preferably in military or healthcare expertise in advanced system architectures automation and emerging technologies is :Ability to obtain a public TrustOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
