Job Summary
Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Engineering Technician who can apply engineering problem solving skills to evaluate wireless devices for global Regulatory compliance involving EMC/RF for wireless consumer technologies in a fast-paced environment and industry. Performs testing of the latest cellular (4G/5G) and unlicensed (WIFI/BT/etc.) technologies to determine FCC (US) and ISED (Canada) and other global regulatory body compliance.
Payrate: $32-37/hr

Responsibilities
Performs and analyze EMC/RF testing and evaluations per regulatory specifications
Compiling and reporting test results using MS Word MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat
Evaluate devices and determine applicable standards
Work in a team environment and assist in development and improvement of test methodologies reporting coordination of various tasks etc
Maintain laboratory test methods and test equipment
Skills / Qualifications
Bachelors degree in any related STEM (Science Technology Engineering or Math) degree or commensurate with experience
Must be customer-focused organized good communication skills fast learner team player and detail-oriented
Strong attention to detail highly organized and computer literate
Wireless/EMC/RF/Laboratory environment experience preferred
Ability to work effectively in team situations as well as independently
Must have the motivation initiative and eagerness to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift 50lbs periodically
