Job Summary
Koniag Information Security Services a Koniag Government Services companyis seeking a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer with a Secret clearance to supportKSSand our government client in Alexandria VA. The ideal candidate is an expert in Kubernetes Keycloak and Gitlab with a passion for infrastructure automation security and developer Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Design implement and maintain highly available and secure Kubernetes clustersManage identity and access control using KeycloakAdminister and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines and workflows to support software deliveryCollaborate closely with developers to ensure platform reliability and complianceDevelop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using TerraformExpert understanding of Kubernetes Helm and AnsibleProven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues across infrastructure and application stackImplement monitoring logging and alerting solutions to ensure platform health and performanceParticipate in on-call rotations and incident response as neededWork Experience Knowledge Skills & Abilities:5 years of experience in a platform engineering DevOps or infrastructure roleSecret ClearanceDeep expertise in Azure GovernmentDeep expertise in Kubernetes (deployment scaling networking etc)Deep expertise in API solutions like Tyk or Apigee Proven experience managing and extending GitLab for source control and Ci/CDProficiency with Linux-based systems and container technologiesProficiency with scripting languages such as Bash and PythonSolid understanding of security best practices in cloud-native environmentsExperience with infrastructure automation and configuration management toolsKnowledge of SAML and oAuth protocols Currently possesses or has the ability to obtain required certifications within 2 months of employment: CompTIA SecurityFamiliarity with Atlassian suite of toolsAbility to obtain AWS or Azure certificationsBachelors degree in related fieldOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
