Your opportunity

We have a great opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator to join the team at Westfield Fountain Gate our regional flagship centre.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager youll help keep the centre running efficiently and safely by coordinating contractors managing work orders and supporting compliance and operational standards.

Beyond day-to-day operations the role also offers strong development opportunities with exposure to projects systems and planning activities to build your skills and prepare for your next career step. A strong work ethic drive and willingness to take ownership are key to success.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to reactive maintenance issues and completing onsite investigations.
  • Supporting high-quality hard and soft service delivery across the centre.
  • Using BMS CMMS and other facilities systems to manage work orders monitor performance and support reporting.
  • Conducting inspections and safety checks and supporting maintenance repairs and capital works.
  • Communicating with retailers contractors and internal teams to coordinate work and resolve issues.
  • Building strong relationships with service providers to ensure timely and compliant service delivery.
  • Supporting environmental sustainability and operational initiatives through accurate reporting.
  • Assisting with emergencies or incidents and following agreed incident management processes.
  • Supporting the delivery of retailer tenancy works to ensure works are completed in line with our internal processes.

This role is offered as permanent full-time based onsite Monday-Friday at Westfield Fountain Gate.

Youre confident managing contractors prioritising work orders and communicating clearly with stakeholders in a busy retail environment. You bring a strong work ethic drive and willingness to take ownership and are eager to develop your skills and gain experience across projects systems and planning.

Experience in facilities property retail or building operations is beneficial and we welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who want to grow their capabilities in facilities management.

You will be:

  • Operationally strong able to get things done take ownership and follow through on tasks in a busy environment.
  • Safety and compliance focused confident applying procedures standards and systems to ensure work is delivered safely.
  • Technically capable skilled in using BMS CMMS and other facilities tools to support operations and reporting.
  • Collaborative and reliable a strong team player who supports colleagues and contributes to a positive team culture.
  • Driven and proactive committed to delivering high standards while learning and developing for future opportunities.
  • Flexible to work public holidays late night trade weeknights or weekends forming part of a rotating Duty Management roster (with time in lieu).
