Our client is seeking an experienced HR Training Administrator to join the Markman Port Elizabeth team on a contract basis
Coordinate internal and external training interventions including bookings logistics attendance registers and evaluation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and employee development files
Administer learnerships apprenticeships internships and skills programmes
Track training completion and follow up on outstanding training requirements
Manage and administer merSETA submissions including:
o Workplace Skills Plan (WSP)
o Annual Training Report (ATR)
o Discretionary grant applications
Liaise with merSETA and accredited training providers
Ensure compliance with Skills Development Act SDA and related legislation
Monitor grant payments and reconcile training spend
Assist with skills audits and training needs analysis
Support Employment Equity and B-BBEE skills development initiatives
Prepare training reports and dashboards for management
Requirements
Grade 12
National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Training & Development or related field preferred
Valid Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) registration (advantageous)
Minimum 35 years experience in a Training Administration or HR Training role
Proven hands-on experience with merSETA processes and submissions essential
Experience working with learnerships and discretionary grant
Strong knowledge of Skills Development legislation and SETA requirements
Required Skills:
Grade 12 National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Training & Development or related field preferred Valid Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) registration (advantageous) Minimum 35 years experience in a Training Administration or HR Training role Proven hands-on experience with merSETA processes and submissions essential Experience working with learnerships and discretionary grant Strong knowledge of Skills Development legislation and SETA requirements
