Job Description

As a key member of the regional leadership team you will lead the product vision and execution to ensure our cloud-based solutions meet the unique demands of the Japanese market.

Market Leadership: Define and lead the product strategy for Japan aligning with broader APAC business objectives through direct interaction with market stakeholders and customers.
Strategic Collaboration: Act as a core member of the Japanese leadership team contributing market insights to shape the overall business strategy.
Innovation: Partner with engineering leadership to identify how platform capabilities can solve complex market needs in innovative ways.
Product Advocacy: Manage priorities across multiple product streams and advocate for the resourcing necessary to deliver excellence across all channels.
Thought Leadership: Represent the product suite in presentations to customer executives and technology leaders highlighting how our solutions drive mission-critical business value.
Execution: Guide delivery efforts to ensure technical implementations remain consistent with the long-term product strategy.

Requirements

Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in the insurance industry preferably in a leadership role driving technology-enabled innovation and digital transformation.
Strategic Vision: Proven track record of setting strategic goals and realizing them through meticulous planning implementation and stakeholder management.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to engage as a peer with engineering leaders in discussions regarding software architecture and technical implementation.
Software Background: Experience in enterprise software specifically within a product management function.
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Technology or a related field.
Agile Methodology: Hands-on experience working within Agile development environments.
Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills in both English and Japanese.
Logistics: Must currently reside in Japan with valid work rights or be willing to relocate.
