The role sits on the Asia Pacific Procurement leadership team and will lead country management for Japan Commercial Procurement team.
The role will work to define and deliver on Priorities and Local Projects leveraging regional and global scale and opportunities.
The role will proactively work as representative at local market focus areas so that local demand requirement and local voices are heard by regional/global team for further enhancement of collaboration and treatment.
The role ensures strong and collaborative relationships built and maintained with CFO and Country leadership team as well as relevant Business stakeholders.
The role will ensure proper coordination between Procurement teams in Local and Asia Pacific Region; and Global when required.
主な職務範囲 / Typical Accountabilities
Accountable for developing a strategic approach to the corporate procurement and management process for indirect goods and services to drive business centricity.
Proactively lead and manage priorities such as collaboration with suppliers on Sustainability activities Global Finance initiative implementation at local market risk control order to achieve sustainable business
Embed excellence in category management including sourcing cost/contract management supplier collaboration and innovation supplier relationship management.
Generate financial value in Japan market including cost savings and cash generation.
Accountable for supply assurance risk and governance within portfolio.
Leads Coaches and develops ONEProcurement team resource through direct/indirect reports in Japan. Manage all direct reports performance.
Proactively identify opportunities in order to promote effectiveness and uplift Japan team capability and capacities.
Develop strategic plans for focus categories (spend) based on local business needs and demand.
Ensures Category Strategies are aligned with current and future Business need and; supply base is capable of supporting these strategies
Deliver tangible value within sourcing cost management supplier relationship management supplier development and innovation.
Manage governance via business partnering and make sure commercial decisions are aligned with overall business strategy and stakeholders
Conduct annual peer reviews of category region or market strategies with the Procurement Leadership Team.
Manage highest standards of compliance and ethics consistently across AZ (including end to end process/source to pay and policy governance)
Lead Sustainability Scope3 supplier engagement program in local both external (supplier/supply chain/pharma industry committee etc.)and internal (for employee engagement) towards 2030 Ambition Zero Caron.
