Key Responsibilities
-
Design configure and maintain LAN WAN WLAN and VPN networks.
-
Install and configure routers switches firewalls and load balancers.
-
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
-
Implement network security measures including firewalls IDS/IPS and access controls.
-
Perform network capacity planning and performance tuning.
-
Maintain network documentation diagrams and configuration standards.
-
Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
-
Manage IP addressing schemes DNS DHCP and VLAN configurations.
-
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for circuit provisioning and issue resolution.
-
Provide Tier-2/Tier-3 network support and root cause analysis.
Required Skills
-
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP routing and switching concepts.
-
Hands-on experience with Cisco Juniper Fortinet or similar networking equipment.
-
Experience configuring VLANs BGP OSPF EIGRP.
-
Knowledge of firewall technologies and network security best practices.
-
Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec SSL VPN).
-
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds Wireshark Nagios).
-
Understanding of DNS DHCP and IP subnetting.
-
Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux networking.
-
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with cloud networking (AWS Azure GCP).
-
Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies.
-
Experience with load balancers (F5 Citrix).
-
Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible Python scripting).

Industry certifications such as:

CCNA / CCNP
-
CompTIA Network
-
Fortinet NSE
-
