This role will be responsible for designing and implementing secure scalable cloud solutions while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and requirementsThe Cloud Architect will serve as the technical lead for cloud initiatives driving the adoption of cloud technologies and best practices. Primary responsibilities include:Design and implement cloud architectures leveraging Microsoft AzureDevelop cloud migration strategies and roadmapsLead cloud transformation projects and initiativesDesign hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud servicesImplement secure cloud environments meeting compliance requirementsEstablish cloud governance frameworks and policiesOptimize cloud resource utilization and costsDesign cloud-based disaster recovery and business continuity solutionsDevelop infrastructure as code (IaC) templates for automated deploymentsImplement identity and access management solutions for cloud environmentsArchitect secure networking solutions for cloud connectivityEvaluate and recommend cloud services and technologiesProvide technical leadership and guidance to IT teams on cloud best practicesCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure secure cloud implementationsCreate architectural documentation and diagramsEducation and Experience:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field8 years experience in IT infrastructure or systems engineering5 years experience designing and implementing cloud solutions3 years experience with Microsoft experience will be consideredExperience with cloud migration and hybrid cloud architecturesRequired Skills and Competencies:Expert knowledge of cloud service models (IaaS PaaS SaaS) and deployment modelsStrong understanding of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS services and architecturesExperience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform ARM templates CloudFormation)Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworksUnderstanding of network design for cloud environmentsExperience with identity and access management in cloud environmentsKnowledge of containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsCloud certification (Azure Solutions Architect AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent)Base-level security certification (Security CISSP or equivalent)Desired Skills and Competencies:Experience in government IT environmentsMultiple cloud platform certificationsKnowledge of FedRAMP compliance requirementsExperience with cloud cost optimization techniquesBackground in enterprise architecture frameworksUnderstanding of data protection and privacy regulationsExperience with cloud automation and orchestration toolsKnowledge of serverless architectures and technologiesSecurity Requirement:This position requires a Criminal background Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
